To use field work to gather information on the situation of indigenous communities and their rights in the context of the implementation of criminal procedure reform; |

To obtain information regarding the rights of indigenous communities and respect for those rights in national judicial ordenances and in the international community, which is an issue that concerns the entire region; |

To use this information to propose tools and information gathering instruments that will enable researchers to amass data on indigenous communities and criminal procedure systems in one country in the region. |
