CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS ARGENTINEAN TRAINING PROGRAM FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE REFORM The Justice Studies Center of the Americas (JSCA) and the National Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of Argentina are pleased to invite interested parties to register for the Argentinean Training Program for the Implementation of Criminal Procedure Reform.
The general objective of the program is to provide participants from both the provincial and federal levels with knowledge and tools that will allow them to identify current problems in their criminal procedures, learn about a wide range of experiences in this area, and formulate new policies in the context of the criminal procedure reform.
The program consists of three stages: a basic course to be held in May 2012 in Puerto Madryn; a six-month e-learning (distance learning) course; and a final course to be held in Buenos Aires in November 2012.
Applications can be submitted online using the form that will be available on the program Website from January 16, 2012 through March 4, 2012. Applications completed using any other mechanism will not be accepted.
A limited number of spaces are available to interested foreign nationals, but no financial assistance will be made available for those applicants.
This program is being organized by Argentina’s National Ministry of Justice and Human Rights and JSCA with the support of the Institute for Comparative Studies in the Criminal and Social Sciences (INECIP) and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
