JSCA Director Participates in Seminar on Judicial Management in Colombia

At the invitation of Universidad Externado de Colombia, JSCA Executive Director Jaime Arellano took part in the forum “Judicial Management and Oral Procedure Models: Challenges of the Implementation of the General Procedure Code.” The event, which was held on May 26th in Bogotá, was organized by the Colombian university.

The activity was open to judges and magistrates, the academic community, litigators and all stakeholders interested in the operation of the judicial system. It provided participants with an opportunity to reflect on judicial management models, particularly in the civil and family jurisdictions.

Arellano took part in a technical panel along with World Bank consultant Paula Astrid Méndez; Lorena Garnica of the Corporation for Excellence in Justice; and Carolina Villadiego of DeJusticia.
